We, at Rovos Rail, pride ourselves in our appreciation of history and its transportation thereof, to the newly rebuilt. Currently we operate two trains - hauled either by steam, diesel or, electric locomotives. Relish, with windows as your screens, the most engrossing pictures of Southern Africa’s magical scenery while savouring the finest cuisine and five-star service and hospitality that the railways have to offer. Rovos Rail are proud to offer you and your loved one a journey in one of the two train’s thirty-six most splendid, luxurious and spaciously appointed time-period train suites. Our establishment in 1989, combined with a pungent resolve to truly capture the Edwardian period aboard our trains, has seen us earn an international reputation as a true world-class rail carrier. The coaches, all completed in wood panelling and fixtures both restored to mint condition, unequivocally impress in the passenger a sensation of elegance and opulence yet, simultaneously allow him/her to enjoy them in a tranquil yet elegant manner. |
